"Hot stuff?" Renee followed XR out of the room with her eyes. She turned to XL. "I will never understand your brother. One minute he hates for- well I wont go into that, and the next im someone to hang out with."

Alan smiled at the woman across the desk and continued filling out his papers. God this was boring. But, it was worth it to get back onto Star Command. And, double score, Renee would spend her summers here with him. Maybe she would consider being a ranger? That robotic eye certaintly wouldnt be a setbac like his lost sense of smell.

"Thats right, Lightyear, peace has been made between Shragarakia and Zephyr and I can go back on active duty again!" He looked at the research forms and smiled embarrasedly. "More or less. Have you seen Renee? I think she's tring to hang out with the bots."

"Lovely." Renee took his arm and waltzed away, following the photocopier willingly. XR followed with his eyes, dumbstruck. There was a definite difference between fifteen and seventeen.

"Excellent! I found it!" Renee held up her file. "Looks like XR had this thing filed anyway." She looked at XL, who had unloced the room for her and everything. "Thanks!"

Renee glanced at him. "Just trying to relive the glory days, buddy. It's better than being stuck hanging with your brother." She smiled and laughed coldly. "You know, XR actually tossed me out a windw once when I was little."

"Renee? What are you doing in here?" Alan suddenly appeared in te door way. She and XL looked up and she stuffed the file back into it's drawer. "Uh, just looking." She smiled wickedly.

"Right. Well, Buzz and I are going to reintroduce you to Jillian." Alan frowned, but grinned again.

"Sure." Renee swallowed. At least this girl wasn't as much of a jockey as her dad. But still. A ranger? REintroduce? She looked back at XL. "If you aren't to busy, do you want to come?"

"Jillie Bear." Buzz asked as he looked in the office. He was puzzled when he saw her desk bare. "Jillian?" He asked as he walked up to it and saw her hiding under it. "What are you doing?"

"Uh...dropped a pen?" Jill asked as she crawled out.

"Well, come on sweetie. Me and Alan want to reintroduce you and Renee." He said as he walked with her to the two.

Renee followed her dad back into the sign up office. Buzz stood there with Jill, who did seem just a bit familiar and at least four years older than Renee. "This is Jillian Lightyear. You guys were friends when you were just little." Alan patted his daughter on the back.

"Uh, Hi." She held up a paw to the girl, ears twitching back in natural distrust. XL stood behind her, quiet.
