" Good. I will do all I can to do this..you both owe me bigtime for it." she said, pursing her lips as she sat back down to think.

neither really knew how they would repay her for this and stayed quiet for the moment. XL went back to looking out the window and XR wandered around the cargo hold, waiting to arrive at TradeWorld

Samara only said it as a natural response to the two rangers. What they really owed would be a loyal bit of back up in case this turned out to be...a rather nasty outcome. She stared out the window..hoping Renee was alright..where ever the girl was.

elsewhere

Renee was still thinking about her encounter with sam, and trying to hide it from her 'father'. What would he think if he found out, any way? The girl didn't personally want to know. They were at a rough patch so far as trust. She looked up at him while he worked on his ship, trying to update the model. "Do you need any help?" The girl knew he probably did. It would also probably be a good way to show that there was no problem, that there was nothing worrying her. If Nos noticed her attitude he would hound her about it until she had to tell. "Here," She stood up to help install a new control panel.

Samara had let her mind wander as the ship headed on-course towards Trade World. Her thoughts continued to go onward to Renee's warning. Regardless of promising not to tell...she did the exact opposite. From having done that, Sam was slowly regretting telling the two robot rangers what she saw.

But the warning was cryptic. That was what perplexed the fembot...what WAS it that the alien girl warned about? Whatever danger there was, it made her innards shudder at the thought.

Samara was no ranger. That would explain a lot as to why they didn't tell lab technicians or engineers much at Star Command. Regardless, no tech in their right mind would go off on a whim..

But then again..Sam was no normal tech.

XR was beggining to get a bit bored, despite the obvious oncoming danger. Why did HE, of all rangers who hated or were hated by Renee, had to come? He knew his brother was head-over-heels for the young energy vampire but it was still a pointless risk to XR. Why not just leave her, as before? Why risk all their lives for something so, to him, stupid? "Are we there yet?" He whined, already wishing he had tried to talk Sam out of this.

XL shook his head, bringing his attention from the window and back to his group. "Are we?"

" Almost. Have patience." she said bluntly.

Whether or not XR had voiced it, Samara could sense a bit of his energy was..how's to say..none too pleased that they were doing this. She understood why, but if he tried, XR was not going to talk the fembot out of it. Regardless. She would have blatantly stated 'Well then you should have stayed behind or went back to Star Command'...what? It was true. He had a choice and yet he chose the latter.

Meh, malebots..

She turned to look over at the two rangers she had thought of what kind of consequences might await once they returned? Samara had always thought ahead to cause and effect..but at this point, she had no idea what would be their consequences. She only sighed and spoke once more before turning back to the window; " Just keep your optics peeled."

"you dont have to tell me twice." XR nodded. He wouldnt let his guard down with even the idea of Nos or Renee in his head. It was hard to believe that he had begun to trust her a few months ago. He also wouldn't reveal his unpleasent history with Nos unless forced.

"Okay!" XL would look out of fear as well, but lso for other reasons. Out of a hope XR did not posses

Poor XR, he would need to learn that trust wasn't something so easy to either earn or keep. Sam at least trusted them both, but she also had an inkling that if something went wrong, they would need to be the ones to high-tail it back to Star Command and tell what happened. Why wasn't life easy? Eh?

Samara saw the familiar signs come into view as the ship landed. Standing up, she went to head outside, making sure that no one else would see them. " Thank you sir!" Sam stated to the pilot before they headed off.

The pilot waved and smiled. "Thank you, folks."

XR came off the ship reluctantly. "alright, where did you see her?" He didn't want to spend too much time here. They needed to hurry anyway, to avoid as much danger as possible.

" Once wandering around here somewhere..then the second time ON my transport ship to the hub you guys were gonna pick me up at." Sam stated bluntly. She wandered on ahead to the walkways in order to get away from the ship depot.

Trade World was just one big ball of energy, it was hard to keep an eye out for anything with a signature or not. Just wonderful, like they needed anything that could really scramble their senses. Bluh, this couldn't possibly be any more annoying than with the giant crowds back on the transport hub.

"well, where would prime hunting lnd be? Somewhere with lots of robots." XR nodded uncomfortabley.

XL thought for a moment, about how much Renee liked robots. "Somewhere with lots and lots of electronic goods, not really robots. Maybe the space port where she was?"

(you might want to lengthen your posts a bit hun)

" No I-...wait.." Samara said, upon hearing what XL had to say. How could that have been overlooked? Right, the space port for visitor commerce would have been a smarter place to look. Lots of electronics and robots here and there. Yeah, a lot better than just running around blindly like trying to find a needle in a haystack. " XL! You're brilliant!" she stated loudly, picking up her little case. She would have honestly picked him up and given him a big old kiss on the cheek for that..however, methinks it wouldn't have been either professional or a good move.

Without much delay, Samara took off in the direction of the space port, the two rangers trailing behind.

(sorry I'll try)

XL looked surprised and laughed. "Great, lets go!" He was excited to try and save Renee. That little bit of genius had merely been the product of considering what Sam had said before. It was a lucky alternative to wandering the planet, at least.

XR smiled a little. "Feel free to lead the way, Sam." He for sue wasn't going out in front.

(don't be sorry, you're doing fantastic work still)

Samara didn't mind leading the way for the two rangers. Regardless of whether or not it was a previous basis off of what she said. She walked at a brisk pace so as not to attract unwanted attention from any unsavory locals, she also made sure to keep XL and XR nearby, yet not too close either. It would be a little suspicious having two rangers following you yes?

Bah, either way, it would be a little while before they reached the space port; "..I think it would be a good time to talk about what we'll do once we find Renee."

XL frowned thoughtfully. “I don't know, really.”

“She'll go to prison.” XR stated coldly. “probably for life.”

His brother whined unhappily. “That's not fair,” well, she was wanted, but it wasn't fair to him.

Samara stopped and turned slowly to face XR for his statement. The stare that she gave him..it probably would have sent chills up even Warp Darkmatter's spine. " So..is that your answer to EVERYTHING?" she practically hissed that at him. " Do you think she deserves to go to prison for things out of her control and BECOME like those other resentful criminals? Hm?"

As she talks she began approaching XR, tapping her finger on his helmet. " Basic. Observational. Psychology. Lesson. 101. XR." she spat, " Prison turns people into WORSE."

XR shivvered slightly. He backed away, a touch terrified. His eyes narrowed in though ever so slightly. No, the girl had no more control over it now than he had, but she had willingly repaired and plotted against Star Command with the energy vampire. She was onlystuck with him now because they had chased her away and could not reverse the mistake. He frowned. If you looked at it from the right angle, she had certainly paid her dues. "I..." He couldn't think of any smart remark to make and shook his head.

XL stayed quietly, frowning. "I don't know what Star Command will do with her." He muttered again. "It's not fair. I know prison makes people worse."

Samara's expression lessened to that of a near apathetic neutrality. " I know what she has done must be considered unforgivable...but remember..she is still just a child in many ways." she sighed, " Life is never fair..but if Star Command starts something..I'll guarantee you this time I'm not being kept in the shadows."

True to her word, the gynoid stood to her full height, pretty much towering over either height of the two ranger bots with her. She continued onward without another word.

Both of the smaller bots were quiet. XR was stewing over the dilemma of Renee's innocence, and her would-be-if-it-hand't-failed heignous crime. He was starting to think about all she had lost in comparison to him. He was only left with a weaker sense of security and trust. The Zephyrite, on the other hand, had lost all of her friends, and her eye. She had also lost her free will. He also thought about Sam's comment- Renee was only nineteen. It had started when she was fifteen.

XL only thought about how they would keep her out of prison. If she was trapped in there with so many other villains she would probably boil and sour in her own hate for her master and the uncaring people who had thrown her in. She had a strong will, but many people were either broken or fermented in Pc-7.

Samara may not have known the extent of the Zephyrite's issues, but from what she had learned, it was enough to even get her briches in a bunch. The gynoid continued to lead the way without facing either of the rangers, not wanting them to see any if her expressions. She was lost in thought, mostly on how they were going to convince Renee to come with them. Well..they didn't have a very good lead or a good plan...

But something had to work.

Sam peered upward at the building that housed the space port when they arrived. " You two spread out..keep on comm-link so I can call you if need be.."

"Okay," They both said simultaneously. XL moved reluctantly in the direction of the shops, not paying attention to the goods this time but looking for his fried's familiar face in the crowds. XR stayed on the building's borders, searching for Renee. Both of the smaller bots stayed quiet so only a small buzz came through their coms. It was a seemingly eerie silence in the bustling spaceport.

Samara made a noise similar to that of taking a breath of air. She slowly made her way into the space port to try and look around, or at least seem somewhat inconspicuous. She made sure to keep a comm-link open for either ranger to hear her and vice versa.

Renee was wandering about a bit after helping her master update the ship. He had decided that she had earned it so the Zephyrite would use this as hunting or shopping time. Not that she had any money to sped, but it ws the thought that counted. Right? RIGHT? She shook her head. She found herself back at the spaceport.

XR was at the wrong end of the building and didn't see her. "Hey guys, how are we holding out? Any sign of her?" He asked.

Samara continued to wander around inside the building, occasionally nonchalantly sitting down or leaning on a wall. She let out a sigh, but perked up when XR's voice came through the comm-link:

Hey guys, how are we holding out? Any sign of her?

Samara immediately shushed him over the link: // No, not yet, but don't give yourself away! // she hissed.
