XL frowned angrily. "Star Command insisted on playing the waiting game for weeks and this is what came from it." That humongous mess with Zurg that got Alan killed was what came from waiting. He hated it. "Why can't we pull a sneak attack or something?"

XR kept his arms crossed stubbornly. "XL does have a point, but I'm not willing to face that energy vampire for her."

" Oh for the lover of!-" Samara exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air in an exasperated notion. " I'm not talking like how Star Command waits...."

She got up and started to pace. Maybe it was a good thing that people pretty much have finally cleared the area. " Renee trusted me enough to come over and speak to me even though she acted as if she shouldn't have. I have a gut feeling she may come back and visit me again. When? I don't know.." Sam stated, looking over at the two bots, " If she comes back, I can try and offer her help. This won't have to do with Star Command having a say in it."

Though upon re-thinking the other bots suggestions, she gave a defeated sigh and spoke once more; " Then you won't face anything...or whatever the heck it is that has her. If you guys feel that strongly about it, then I'll go with you and give you some assistance.....though I gotta warn you...I'm no ranger."

XL began to smile but his brother broke in. “i said i wouldnt help because she and her master are energy vampires!” he grumbled. “that means they bite robots and survive on their energy.”

XL facepalmed himself. “its g
a great idea, but i really want her back soon.”

" XR, letting fear keep that hold on you is what gives them the advantage. So we're going to let them come to us...somehow." she pondered, walking around a little.

" XL, if anything, maybe she might come looking for you."

XL nodded happily. He was so excited at the prospect of seeing Renee again. "Maybe we should go back to Tradeworld. That's definitely where she'd be."

XR kept frowning. He did feel a bit of sympathy for her. "Fine, I'm in."

" Well boys, looks like we're heading on back then.." Samara stated, picking up her little bag. " I might be able to send something to Star Command that says I'll be a bit late in coming back. Maybe it'll take any slack away from you two in the meantime."

She motioned to follow back towards the Departures connecting ships that were scheduled to head back to Trade World. There weren't any passenger ships that were still in the vicinity to head back, but maybe a cargo ship or two was left. This wasn't going to be easy, but Samara might be able to persuade a pilot to let them on board.

XL followed her, practically dancing. XR kept his arms crossed. They followed Sam up to a large jo-adian pilot. "Yes?" He smiled at them.

" Excuse me sir," Samara began with a polite tone coupled by a pleading smile, " We were on our way towards Trade World but our ship arrived late and we missed our connecting passenger vessel. I know this isn't the most convenient option, but do you think we'd be able to hitch a ride with your cargo ship? I can pay you back for your troubles."

The jo-adian thought for a moment. "It shouldnt be a problem." He grinned. The alien led them aboard. "If you dont mind my asking," He settled into the drivers seat. "What are you going to tradeworld for."

"Suicide mission." XR grumbled under his breath where the pilot couldnt hear.

" Research, sir, Star Command." she said, displaying an ID card to the Jo-Adian. " We appreciate the help sir. I hope you don't mind, I only have 200 unibucks in cash to give to you." Samara said, offering the pilot the money.

"Hmmm..." The pilot took the bills and flicked through them. "Why thank you." He laughed and started the ship.

XL was looking out a window excitedly. He couldnt wait

Samara gave a smile and word of thanks to the Jo-Adian pilot. As she joined XR and XL, the fembot noticed the look on XL's face. " You missed Renee, didn't you?" she asked.

XL looked back at her nodded. He woulsve blushed if it was possible. “yeah, um, she helped me out a lot in the copy room.” he opened a small compartment on his side and showed off a photo from the birthday she had thrown him proudly.

Samara couldn't help but smile at seeing the photo. That was one thing many people in the galaxy forgot; the little things in life.

Samara turned her gaze over at XR, " and lemme guess, you've got a stick up your can because of this?" she smirked, playfully nudging XR's side.

"Yes, yes I do, because my brother got a girlfriend before I did."

Yeah, that statement was actually unexpected to the fembot's audio receptors. How? Well..the look of 'omgwtfdidIjusthear' was plastered on her face. It was quite amusing to see.

" Okay then, I'm going to focus more on the serious matters of said situation." she said with a small, embarrassed chuckle as she got up and took out a data-pad.

Samara gave a look at the two bots. Her arms were crossed and her expression was serious. The gaze showed that Sam wasn't in any mood to joke around about this.

" This means you two need to keep a sharp optic open. Or at least keep your communicators on in case I need you. Remember, I'm no ranger."

"Alright," XR went slightly serious, taking in her tone. He really did actually want to help XL, even if he was sure Renee was out to get him. "I'll keep an eye out. I would anyway, knowing the energy vampires."

XL nodded contemplatively. "I'll be careful."
