Renee came in and noticed what samara was doing. she cocked an ear, but went back to work and handed one of the LGMs the skematics. Instead of going back to XL she sat down and reassumed tinkering with the tiny machine she was building.

It didn't take more than a few minutes before Samara peeked over with her eyes to see what Renee was doing. After turning to look, she spoke.

" Hey, what'cha workin' on Renee?" Sam asked out of curiosity.

"Working on a little robot of my own design." Renee sat beck the rolly chair and showed Samara her little project. It was a small spiderlike robot in its final stages. "It's not much, but, you know." She shrugged.

Samara slid her seat over (wheeled stools for the win) to get a better look at the little robot spider. " That's really something!" she said, giving a grin. " Ever thought of working in robotics?"

"Yeah, Ive considered doing some work on Trade World." Renee shrugged. she was eating up tha attention, just wouldnt admit it. "I've worked with some pretty advanced stuff." She flipped the spider's hidden power switch and it scurried up her arm and to the top of her head. she picked it up and rubbed it's underbelly, making it roll over happily.

" If you ever needed someone to teach you more, my creator is a specialist in that field." Samara said, giggling at the little spider. Yes, it's cute in her eyes. She's not scared of the usual things most people are. Don't ask me, I'm just the narrator.

Renee carefully cuddled the machine against her cheek and it rubbed agianst her fur affectionately. "Thanks for the offer. Want to see him?" She held out the little robot in her palm.

the little bot ran up Samara's arm and onto her head, jumping up and down playfully. Renee giggled. "Playful thing, isn't he?"

"I love making them where they can feel, at least some things." The Zephyrite lifted the little spider off Sam's head and hit the 'off' switch, storing it in her pocket. "Because it makes them more fun to spend time with. Unless," She rolled her eyes. "You're talking about the eXpendable Ranger."

Samara looked at the computer terminal then back at Renee. Subconsciously she knew she had work to do soon, but knowing there was not much she can do while the data did it's transfer for the time being. She nodded at Renee, " Fortunately I have some time to kill before having to get more stuff done...so, why not?"

The fembot stood up shortly after, even at 5'7 she was still very tall for a robot. Or even a normal person for that matter.

Reneee felt a little shadowed by the tall robot but lead her down the hall just the same. She didn't look back and kept her arms crossed, hunting for lightyear and his team.

Samara just followed Renee, it felt like the better idea. The bot didn't know her way around Star Command, so it would be wise to keep a guide with you..or just someone who's been there longer and knows the damn place. Samara took it upon herself to look over her surroundings again, that way she could remember them.

Renee finally caught Mira, Booster, and XR in the offices. "Hey guys, thought I'd introduce the new recruit." She smiled and motioned to Samara.

"Going to sell her out too?" XR rolled up and scowled. She poked him on top of the head with a claw and chuckled.

"Snack chips, how many times have i told you the theatre thing wasn't my plan?"

"Not enough." He grumbled. Recapturing some of his charm he held out a hand to Sam. "Hello, im XR."

Samara looked at them both in slight confusion before shaking XR's hand. " Samara Fifer, computer and technical engineer. ...and why did Renee call you 'snack chips'?"

"It's her stupid nickname for me." He grumbled. "Set Nos-4-a2 on me and Ty for no reason..."

"Hey, hey," Renee cut in. "I was ruled inoccent. I didn't do it on purpose, and nobody got hurt."

"Sure ya did." He waved his hands in her face and rolled away angrily.

Mira looked up from her desk with a little concern. She got up to greet Sam. "Welcome to star command." She glanced at Renee. "Arguing over the court rule again?"

"Yes." The girl crossed her arms.

Samara nods with a greeting smile at Mira before turning back to XR and Renee. Unsure how to essentially approach the situation, she just did so the best way she could..just asking questions;

" Hold the phone..wait wait wait wait...BACK UP. " The female bot stated, holding her hands out, motioning to 'stop'. She cleared her vocal processor before continuing.

" Nos-who? and Ty what?..You've lost me." she stated, rising an eyebrow.

"It's nothing." She nodded and glared at XR

"It IS something to me." XR growled back. He turned to Samara. "Nos-4-a2 is an energy vampire. we thought we had killed him after this big explosion on planet Z, but SHE" he pointed to an angry renee. "Found and repaired him, then he tried to eat me and take rangeer Ty Parsec prisoner."

Renee hissed. " Ty parsec was bitten by the energy vampire. that, with the radioactivity from the canis lunas moon, turned him into this 'wirewolf' thing. Basically a robot werewolf."

" Okay, now BOTH of you calm down. Now." Samara's voice was commanding and firm, coupled with her height and serious expression, it was quite surprising. She stepped between the robot and the young alien in order to block any type of fight from occurring, regardless if one started or not.

" Acting like two rabid dogs about to fight over a scrap of food isn't exactly making a good impression. Thanks." she said, crossing her arms.

" Now then...some energy vampire, as you said XR?...sounds a bit of a push-over."

Renee stepped bac begrudgingly and crossed her arms. XR, who looked like he was ready to plant a fist in the girl's smug face, did the same. "He's whiney, but no push over." She smirked.

"And she's the only reason he's alive right now." He grumbled.
