"Sooo," Alan tried to word this the best he could. "How serious are you with that Naga?"

"Dad, dont worry." She smiled. "Just the occasional kiss, lots of hugs." Renee cocked an ear. "Have you heard anything?"

One little girl came up and tugged on her skirt. "I thought this was just a father daughter dance."

The girl shrugged and walked away, back to her father. "Who is that?" Buzz eyed the man. He was far in the back and hard to distinguish.

"Thanks." Renee smiled and sat down with a sigh.

"Don't know, don't care." Jill snapped as she went and sat next to Renee.

"So how'd you get here?" The cat girl asked with a smirk. "I thought you weren't coming this year?" Jill grinned her teeth.

"Dad threatened to show Crockett my baby photos." She hissed. Renee looked at her confused. Why did she care about what Rocket thought? She had hated him since they were kids...unless...Renee smirked at Jill. "What?"

Jill's face was still a light shade of pink as Buzz came over with punch for her.
