"Your Ty's best friend, right?" Renee palmed herself in the face. This dog wasnt catching on at all. "Whatever- gorget it. I just want to get home and see what all Zurg did to my insides." She laid down on her back and stared at the ceiling. "Go on- go away."

Pixel's eyebrows shifted up, confused by Renee's mood swings. "Renee, what's with you? What's with the attitude change?"

"Forget it. Blame the meds." She lay face down in the pillow. "Somebody take me home, will you?" Her ears lay flat back in something like threat and sadness at the same time. "

Pixel squinted her eyes suspiciously. But she didn't want to press Renee; the poor thing was probably tired. So she shrugged and assured her, "Alright. Whatever ya say. If you need anything, I'll be at the bridge with the others." She started walking along before giving Renee one more concerned look.

Pixel headed to the bridge, just as she said she would.

Well, that was it, her life was officialy over. Alan would certaintly never trust her again and she had lost both eyes and a lot of internal organs. She thought.

At least the dog had gone away. She was really nice but, as she knew, Ty and XR had told her aabout thw whole theatre mess, and that was going to come back and haunt her.

Pixel padded back to the bridge, silently, pondering over Renee's words...

She no sooner reached the bridge, where the Rangers were silent and concentrated on getting back to Star Command.

Alan looked at her. "How's Renee? Any serious bleeding or anything?"

XR frowned. He didnt care, didnt want to care, but had to listen anyway.

"And mentally?" Alan looked back worriedly. He shook his head. "Forget it, We'll check up on everything at Star Command."

The Rangers and Alan sat down in chairs outside the med bay where the LGMs were currently tending to Renee.

Alan was, most reasonably, the most vocal about his concerns for his daughter.

"I want to now what that stupid bucket head did to my daughter!" He slammed a fist on the table.

Renee looked over at her dad weakly. "I'll be fine... I think." She smiled. Looking at the LGMs again, she asked. "So, what DID he do to me?"

The Rangers winced at that question. They didn't know how to break it to her...but Pixel did.

She announced, "Well...see for yourself." She pulled a mirror from somewhere and showed Renee's reflection.

Renee instantly let out a scream.

"Good lord!" Renee shrieked. Her face was scarred thickly, and a fair amount of her fur was gone. A short metal plate that looked like a mask was placed over where her eyes and bridge of her nose. A pair of digital red eyes looked at her in the mirror. She pulled her shirt up a little and looked at her stomach. It was plated with the silver metal too. She looked up again sadly. "Alright, I've seen the outside. What about the inside?" She was scared of the answer.

The LGMs motioned to a nearby visual monitor. "Inside....spooky..."

Renee let out another scream.

"Oh god." Renee put a paw to her mouth."No heart, no lungs..."

"Or kidneys, or galbladder, or colon-" One LGM continued.

"point being-" Buzz pushed away the gree bean before he coud go on. "You're almost ninety percent mahine now."

"I'm just a bot with skin." She shudered.

"And a brain." XR pointed out.

"You're not helping, snack chips." Renee hissed.

XR hid behind Pixel, who just rolled her eyes.

She went to comfort Renee as she said, "Yeah, you're part robot now, but you're still Renee!"

"I was part robot before." Renee put her face in her hands. "Now I'm just part Zephyrite." Both her eyes glowed hotly. "And Zurg has the rest of me in a jar somewhere."

"Yeah, yeah, true." Renee looked up and tried to smile. It hurt. if only they knew that she hadnt totally been herself since she got out of the hospital two years ago. she shrugged it off. "Did he hook me up with any weapons or anything like that?"

"Thank god." Renee slid off the table. "I didn't want to blow up anyone on accident."

"But it can't be that simple." Alan argued for a second. "Zurg would put some kind of chip or something in, just so she couldnt get away." Renee looked at her feet nervously.

"Fantastic." Renee sighed. "I don't need anymore of tho- I mean I dont need anyone endangering star socommand." She faltered, recapturing her pained smile. She looked at XR carefully. "So, snack chips, what do we do now?"

"What's this 'we' you're talkin' about? I don't want any part of it!" He turned away from her, crossing his arms.

Pixel gave him a good smack on the helmet with her tail before making him turn around.
