Ginger looked at the cap in her hands... and burst out laughing. Alan was still waiting on Simone. He stared at Ginger like she was off her trolley. "Yeah, he's dead, killed him took the top of his head and locked the body in a closet."

He snickered nervously and held up the two peices. "Yeah, I get it."

"Zephyr may be a thousand times more friendly than shragarakia." Alan shook the cap. "But Zephyr has its fair share of scalping in it history." He tossed it back to Ginger, laughing.

"Yeah." the woman caught it. "I cut off lightyear's cap to snap him out of an Ozma-kiss enduced trance."

Meanwhile, Simone was finishing up with another patient's checkup inside a cubicle. She was washing her hands when she heard voices coming from another cubicle...it sounded like Alan and Ty. They were talking about Buzz's...cap? And how it was destroyed?

Alan pulled at his collar. The uniform researchers wore was very different from that of the rangers, consisting of bluejeans and a white polo shirt with the logo on it. "Yeah." He looked up a little gratefully when Simone came up. "Uh, ginger, you mind getting off? I kind of need to get my arm fixed."

Simone saw Ty, Alan's broken arm and a bipedal creature from around the corner of the cubicle corner, and her eyebrows widened in surprise....

She went over, gingerly and greeted Alan. "Alan...what happened? What are you doing here?"

Ginger got off his shoulder and smiled. Alan looked at Simone gratefully. The look turrned into embarrasment. "Hi simone. Well, blame warp. He thought i was faking the broken arm for attention. Short story shorter, he pinned the cast behind my back. If it wasn't broken before," He shuddered painfully. "It is now."

Simone grimaced at that. She muttered, loud enough for everyone to hear, "That may be a little hard for me to let go, Ty."

She went to Alan's side, and looked over his arm.

Alan smiled gratefully. The pain was really getting to him. Ginger snatched the cap away from Ty. "I need to see if the LGMs can fix this. Unfortunately I never learned how to sew." She looked over the clawmarks. It would be hard to fix.

As Ginger looked it over, she noticed stitching in the inside of the cap. Looking closely at it she saw it said 'To My little Space cadet, Buzzby. Love Nana' in embroidery.

Simone didn't want anything to do with seeing Buzz's cap, so she just concentrated on taking care of Alan's arm, replacing the old cast with a new and stronger one.

"Thanks." Alan smiled at her, ignoring the conversation between Ty and Ginger.

"Exactly!" ginger leaned over Ty's back now. "So, do I save it to sell on ebay someday, or tack it to the message board when it gets fixed for him to pick up?"

Simone simply smiled and continued fixing Alan's arm. But she did give a pointed look towards Ginger and Ty about Buzz's cap.
