Ty crossed his arms.

"Really? who'd you talk to?"

"Uh..." Renee looked up at Ty again. "Maybe when Ty's not here. Its not exactly his best friend, if you know what i mean."

She stood up again and smiled at Ty. "thanks again for saving me."

Ty knew whom Renee was talking about, but he didn't say a word. So instead, he just gave her a small smile when she thanked him for saving her life. "It wasn't just me. Pixel, Buzz, his team, and your dad also deserve some credit."

She shook her head again and started to walk down the halls towards the copy room. Smiling quietly she waved to booster, passing his office.

Booster waved back briefly. Ty and Pixel shrugged and went to the Training Deck.

She wandered kind of aimlessly and eventually found the copy room. "Hello?" she peered inside.

"OOF!" The figure rubbed his head as he accidentally bumped it into the wall.

"Ah!" Renee was suprised. She flicked on a light and rushed over to help whoever it was had hit his head. "Are you okay?"

"Fine. Just a little dizzy, but I'm fine...wait, who said that?" A voice asked out in the distance.

Renee looked around. She blinked, again trying to get used to her digital eyes. "Renee Gade. Who's there?"

All of a sudden, out popped out a photocopier/fax machine robot!

"Well, howdy there, Renee Gade! I'm XL!"

she fell back, suprised, and smiled. "Oh, hi, just the bot I was looking for!"

XL kind of twitched a bit. "Talking to me? Well, what did you wanna talk about?"

"I dont know." she shrugged. He seemed nice enough and not near as stupid as the vampire had described him. "What are you into othr than faxing and do on?"

"Nice." Renee smiled. She wanted to warm up to some people on star command, and he seemed like just the bot to start with. "Could i hang around? I promise not to get in the way." She crossed her heart with a claw. "But i may be here a while."

XL shrugged. "Okay, but you gotta let me do my work. I'm WAY behind on faxing and stuff."

"Perfectly fine." the cyborg nodded. "but just say if you need help delivering or something." she wondered if he had heard of her and hoped not. The fax machin, even as XR's brother, had hopefully been deprived of the storiess about her.

XL responded in a cheerful tone, "You got it!" He turned back to the corner and went back to work.

Renee watched as he went over to his corner.

And she just sat there, waiting for someone to say something. Everything was kind of going into an awkward wilence, but it was better than hanging around with XR. "You know Alan Gade?" she asked. Her father had told her about the time ha and Ty tested out XL. it would be funny to hear it from the robots point of view.
