"Sib!" She grinned as he sighed and placed her down. Spying a remote she picked it up and held it towards Ty. "Mals" She said with a cute smile.

"Mals?" He didnt understand baby speak. It was only one of the many reasons he wasnt a parent himself. "Remote. Wanna watch TV?"

Jill nodded happily. "Mals!" She smiled as she picked up her beloved toy jo-ad bunny. "Mals!" She held the toy out then the remote.

Well whatever that meant. He turned on the television, sitting and scrolling slowly until he found the children's channels, then the baby channels, and settlin for something about two rabbits who adventured in a farmer's garden. It seed right up Jill's alley.

Jill just gave a pout. "Mals." She went to her baby bag and pulled out her toy animals before dumping them onto Ty's foot and pointing to them then the tv. "Mals!"

Jill pouted before pick up a lion like toy. "Rawr-rawr." She mimicked the noise it made to make her point clear. She wanted the animal channel.

He still didn't understand baby talk. "Hey, that's pretty smart." He picked up a stuffed dog from her bag. "What sound does this make?"

Jill smiled as he landed on the Animal Channel. "Dat!" She squealed as Ty chuckled and picked her up before putting her on his lap.

It was a Cryosian emporer lion, one of the most vicious and lonely predators on the cold planet. It roared and went bounding after a herd of fat, hairy wildebeast looking animals.

Jill cuddled up to Ty and soon fell asleep. The toddler breathed gently as he smiled and reached for the remote...only to cause Jill to whine.
