Baby Shower Panic

It had been 8 months since Renee's and Judus's wedding and things were slowly returing to normal around Star Command.
"Watch it Jill!" XR snapped as the heavily pregnat woman knocked over a stack of papers with her stomach.
"Sorry!" Jill said as she tried to bend over and pick up the papers.

Renee, who was happily harboring five kittens for a normal seven-month period, was also on Starm Command to spend the weekend visiting her father and judus and trying to help in the science lab. "Careful, jill" She chuckled.

"Yeah Yeah." Jill mummbled as she tried to get back up. She grunted as she couldn't get back upright. "Fricken kid." She tsked a bit as she couldn't get herself up.

Myka and XR helped her upright. "You really shoudln't be at work." her husband commented, concerned. "You need to be on maternal leave."
Renee snickered. "Oh, like you have it bad. Try hauling five of them, compacted into seven months." She had a point- it could be worse.

"I'll be fine. Me and the baby are fine." Jill smiled as she rubbed her belly. "Both of us girls are fine." Though they hadn't asked to know the gender, Jill was convince tehy were having a girl.

"Okay," Myka shrugged but still looked worried for her. He was getting extremely protective lately. "But remember, tell me if anything at all goes wrong."
Renee, because it was hard to tell and she wanted a surprise, didn't know the gender of any of her kittens. She had a feeling there were at least two, maybe three boys though.

Jill smirked as she walked to her desk, well waddled to her desk really. Sitting down she gave a tired sigh as the pressure of her heavy belly was taken off her swollen ankles. Of course Buzz had to walk in at that moment.

Buzz looked her over, grinning nervously. "Hows my jelly belly doing?" He rubbed her stomach sweetly. "And of course, my grandkid to."
Renee rolled her eyes. It was weird and adorable as well. She managed to get up, going to the cafeteria to get something-anything- to eat. Her tail was about the only thing letting her keep a sense of balance because of her massice stomach. About halfway down the hall she bumped into XL.

The man rolled his eyes, laughing. "Right," He ruffle her hair.
"What?" She shook her head, a little bit out of it today. "Oh, yes, there's one in the nursery." She stroked her belly, eyes closed in a smile. "Of course its not like the ones for domesticated animals, though."

She looked down at him and smiled, blushing a little. "Of course. Thanks a million." He had become more comfortable with the entire wedding thing now that there was a prospect of kittens. "It will go wonderfully with the bedding."
