Title: Home for the Holidays
Author: Alexa/ab103, aka Greg Garrets
Fandom: Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and Cosmic Dust
Character(s) / Pairing(s): Alfred Cosmic, et al.
Rating: K+, PG
Word Count: Approximately 11,600 total
Warning(s): None, I think.
Disclaimer: Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and related property and ideas are owned by Disney/Pixar. Cosmic Dust and and related property and ideas are owned by me.
Summary: Alfred has a job he does every Holiday season before returning home to Beta. However, this year, can he decide whether Beta truly is his home?

Most of this was written over past few days, very early in the morning when I should had been in bed. You might be able to tell which particular areas were written under such circumstances... silent

I didn't really bother to edit this, so I apologize for any mistakes you might see. Also, sorry if the story seems rushed or lacking in any of the places (especially the end), but I wanted to get this over with... Enjoy?

Fox Storm wrote:"Aaand, so far had just ended." Is there supposed to be a 'that' there, or not? It seems a bit awkward to me....

May I ask what you mean by 'that'? As in, where you think it's supposed to go...? *confused* It's supposed to be a reference to the line just before Nebula calling "Cosmic!".

Everything was going well so far.

"Cosmic!"

Aaand, so far had just ended.

But, if you think it should still be changed, just clarify what you mean and I'll fix it. :3

Oh....I read that wrong then. Never mind! Ignore me then. x0

I think if you're going to do that, maybe just make 'so far' bold so that the reader doesn't get confused...like I was, heh.

Other than that, you're doing fine! ^^

I put it in quotations, to make it clearer. Thanks for the suggestion! 8D

The scene with "Nebula and Freddie boy" (as you put it) was actually one of my favorites to write for this thing. 8D I thought it would be great to have that interaction... Glad it worked to my advantage!

It sure did! I thought it was cute...and really sad...poor blokes. Although the eggnog thing was a nice touch...makes me want to never, ever go near that stuff....<_<......>_>

Well, they DO make non-alcoholic eggnog... But, as a rule, never get drinks from a punchbowl when at a party. You don't know what people might put it in. It's best to get unopened bottled or canned drinks! 8D

SO true! But still...I don't like eggnog much anyways. xD

Now for my first impressions of the final piece!

Oh, shoot! That part that you quoted called her "Holidays Past" instead of "Present"! I'd change that now, but for some reason, livejournal isn't loading for me. DX Oh well, I'll get to it later (if I remember).

I am so glad you like it! 8D It was a worry of mine whether or not it'd be approved, so I'm glad you enjoyed it! <3

Oh...I didn't even notice that! I'm glad you did, though! xD

Heh, no worries! It's a winner in my book, Alexa, and it was a pleasure to read it! <3.
