Renee tried to swim back into conciousness and failed. There was something keeping her under... and she san back down again.

Zurg was waiting for everything to be done, even though he knew it would take hours. Playing ping-pong with her offer, he sat by, wondering if the rangers were dead yet.

Meanwhile, Pixel slipped and out of the shadows, taking great care into making sure that NO ONE spotted her. Whenever she could, she stopped to try to find Renee's scent. Inwardly, she sighed. Nothing. She'd keep trying to find her or else.

Suddenly, she felt a shift in the ship....it was like...they were heading downwards...Oh no, they've reached Planet Z!

Grubs and brainpods tugged Kindle's stabilization tan off their ship. "It took you long enough, didn't it?" Zurg demanded.

They flinched. "Should we take the Emporers newest project of evil to the operating room now?" One asked.

"Of course not!" He she shouted, again, like they were idiots. "The brainpods have hardly started."

No one ever suspected the Pixel was on planet Z

And the fact that Pixel was free and in the shadows gave her an even bigger advantage. She hid in the shadows to watch brain pods and grubs scrambling around, as if they were on a very sudden tight schedule, which was made more tighter when Zurg himself arrived on the scene.

Warp carried the barely conscious Renee in his arms, following Zurg off the ship and into the dark and sinister world of Planet Z.

Pixel watched everyone depart the ship, with a tank containing a figure being carried out. "That must be Kindle!" She waited until everyone left, and then....she crept off the ship, and disappeared into the shadows once more, this time on Planet Z.

"A.. few organs down." A brainpod smiled- er, sort of smiled, out of the vidscreen.

"Excellent!." Zurg Stood up and waved a finger. "Keep going and, before i forget, start the repairs, will you? Warp had a good point about that two-for-one cyborg deal."

The brainpod nodded. Pixel was disgusted. Where were the rangers?

Meanwhile, the team of Rangers had finally reached Planet Z, finding a remote location to land their ship. They landed in a bare field of nothing but specks of weeds and dust. One by one, the Rangers left the ship, overlooking the main fortress of Zurg, in silence.

Only XR made a sound by gulping out loud but didn't say a word.

Buzz and Alan turned to Ty and asked him to see where Pixel could be. He opened his wrist com to find her signal. He told them where she was, and then, on Buzz's command...they all activated their jet packs and took off.

Zurg was practically dancing on top of his thrown. The rangers were taking so long to get here! It was great! "Heeeeee" He giggled childishly. "Without the rangers to stop me, i will be the victor!" And, oh, it was just getting better- they were already taking indle into the operating room. He laughed harder.

The Rangers rapidly flew over the fortress, taking great care to avoid Hornets. They flew around, trying to find Pixel within the shadows. They landed on the ground, and started walking around.

Ty decided to communicate with Pixel, trying to see where she was. He had yet to get a signal from her, considering she was within the shadows and because there were too many Hornets around.

Meanwhile, Pixel had followed the Grubs, Brain Pods and everyone else to the operating room. She was angry that Renee was trapped in there, and tried to form a plan to get Renee out of there without anyone noticing.

In moments Zurg found the rangers on his security cameras. "Uh- uh." He called through a microphone, smiling with glee. "Do you really want to come in firing? The girl's in an awful precarious position for you to go gung-ho."

Alan looked up at the speakers. He squeezed his fists tight, then sighed terribly. "Buzz, he's right."

Buzz turned, suprised at Alans being so quick to give up. "Alan, I realize your daughter's in danger but-"

"But nothing." The man spat. "He's got her life on a string in there and I'm not risking it."

The Rangers traveled around the fortress, doing their best to stay out of sight. Too bad a few security cameras picked up on them. By the time they found out the cameras were there, it was too late; they'd been caught.

Pixel decided enough was enough. She didn't know what to do, though, when she looked at Renee's scared face. She had to think of something, but what?

And, suddenly, the darkness subsided. Renee jerked awake, then laid back again. A grey fog hung around the world. She hoped it was only the anesthetic. Warp smiled down at her grimly, and the brainpods rolled bac to view their work. "Huh?" The girl looked around, wondering exactly what had just happened. It felt like only moments had passed since warp hit her against the wall-

But there was a definite space in time. She could feel it. Everything started to come back... "Zurg." She coughed, looking for him. There was the strangest red tint around everything she saw, instead of just on the left.

Pixel saw Renee awake. She was happy she was awake, but more annoyed that she tried to protect Pixel from Warp....oi.

But she could worry about that later. Right now, she had to get Renee's attention without getting the others' attention.

"Alright Zurg." Renee sat up and spoke into the mike provided. "Are you happy? More metal instead of guts. I want to know what you took from me for Kindle."

When renee sat up, Pixel was suprised by what she saw...

And that was enough to set Pixel's guts on fire. She angrily came out and ROARED at the grubs and brain pods, sending them all scattering. She ran in front of Renee and tore off the straps to get her free, not caring if the Hornets were there, or if Zurg saw her. She placed Renee on her back and ran as fast as she could out of the room.

"Whoa!" Renee shouted as Pixel flew out of what seemed like nowhere. She blinked or, more like, tried to blink but only got twin shutter click sounds as the dustchaser tore through the straps on her table and threw renee obto her back. "Yeah, escape sounds good." She said, happy for the rescue despite the pain it spared in her stomach. She held tight, trying not to sink her claws into the ranger's back.

The Rangers looked on, stunned by what they had just seen. But they snapped out of their stupor and Buzz took action. He asked Ty to call Pixel to get Renee to meet them outside the fortress. Ty did what they were told and the Rangers headed back, flying with all their might.

Meanwhile, Pixel ran as fast as she could and dodged Hornets wherever she went throughout the fortress. She didn't care if SHE was hurt. The only thing that mattered was getting Renee out of sight.

Renee felt like she was flying, but definitely not in a good way, like when she was on that lunar surfer under the moonlight, but more like stuc on the outside of a ship going mach 2. Her eyes watered and she accidentaly tore at the dustchaser collar, taking off a few buttons with a short shatter of glass.

"I! Dont! Have! A! JETPACK!" Alan jumped up and down below the rangers. He was about to get swarmed by hornets.

"Oops." XR said. "Forgot- Alans a civilian."

Pixel felt Renee tug at her collar, taking off a few buttons, but she still didn't care. She just kept going, pushing her body to the limit. She knew that she could do the Sonic Boom, but she was already halfway out of Zurg's place.

So she just kept going. She saw the Rangers flying and she followed them.

The Rangers picked up Alan and made their way to outside the fortress, fighting off any Hornets that came their way. They saw something dark blue running after them on the ground. It was Pixel with Renee on her back!

Pixel shouted, "I know! I'm heading over to them!" She followed the Rangers to near the field, where the ship was.

The Rangers took that as a cue to land in the field, and meet up with Pixel and Renee.

Renee saw the ship and smiled. Forget Kindle, she was getting out of here. "Dad!" She cried, meeting them at the ship. She couldn't get up to hug him, but would soon enough.

The Rangers landed down near the ship and met up with Pixel and Renee. Pixel had to dig her paws deep into the earth to slow down and not crash into anything!

But she managed to stop in time and let Renee off her back.

Renee stumbled up off Pixel's back. "Thanks Pixel... You don't know how much it means." She climbed into the ship and sat down sickkly. The rangers were definitely ready to go home

The Rangers knew that now wasn't the time to ask questions; they had to get Renee out of there! They all went into the ship quickly.

Pixel just silently padded along and sat down by Renee's side when they were on the ship.

"Well, since we're pretty much safe from zurg now. With lightyear and all." Renee held open her arms in defeat. "Maul me now. Not like I care- I assume they told you. XR's not going to let it be till im dead, so do it."
