Renee frze up. Suddenly everyone was there. sh wobbled for a second, looing like she was going to pass out, and started jumping up and down. "oooh! I knew it!" she laughed. it really had been a suprise. She looked around. there were silver and gold streamers hung across the ceiling. "Oh it loos like you guys worked so hard!" she gushed.

"Sure did Pussycat." Jill smiled as she held her gift. Whatever it was it needed the six airholes punched into the box. Judus was tied to a chair with a piece of duct tape over his mouth.

Renee glanced at the box. She was excited to see what was inside, but first... The cat went over to Judus and tore the tape off of his mouth. "Well, its evident who planned it all." she laughed. "Nice work XL!" She looked into the crowd, searching for him.

"Actually we tied him to the chair so he wouldn't blab about it." Jill explained as the box kept shaking.

"I'm not good with secrets." Judus said as he was untied.

"Welcome my dear!" XL said as he appeared behind Judus.

Renee laughed. She patted Judus. "Of course you are." The cat turned to XL. She kissed him on top of the head again. "Best thing anyone's ever done for me." Standing up, she smiled at everyone. "Okay, untie my boyfriend and we can get this party started right!"

"On it!" XL said as he pulled out a torch and flicked it on. "I may miss though," He grinned a bit evilly. Jill sighed as she handed Renee the box.

"Hold this." She sighed and went to go get Judus out of the chair, flame free.

Renee felt something move in the box. She smiled evilly before pulling XL away from Judus's chair. "Not the right time or place, my little pyromaniac." She rubbed his head. "Oh, jilly," She tried to peek into the box. "Did you buy me lunch?" the cat chuckled.

"Open it and find out." Jill smiled as Judus stood up. Renee grinned and opened the top of the box.

"Oh what a cute prickly lil-" She stopped halfway when a marten pup's head popped up.

"Oh my gosh!" she shrieked happily. the little animal jumped out of the box and ran up her shoulder. She patted the marten affectionately. "How did you get this?" the cat was extatic. It was her first pet since the beetle, and that had died years ago.

"A lot of paper work, alot of strings pulled, and alot of favors called in." Jill smiled at her. "And don't get me started on the paper work." She couldn't help but grinned at Renee's happy face. "You like?" She asked as Judus petted the furry little critter on the head.

"Yes!" She hugged jill. "He's fantastic!" she instinctively knew the little animal was a boy. Petting it again, she stroked it's fur. The cat held him down towards XL. "Isnt he so adorable?" Alan looked surprised but happy. Jill had worked hard to get it.

"Yeah...i guess..." XL said. Great now he had to fight the snake AND a fur ball for Renee's attention? As he reatched to 'pet' it, the marten hissed at XL and swiped a paw at him.

Renee took him back. She looked the little furry animal in the eye and nuzzled it. "Guess you don't like robots as much as I do." Alan came over to pet it.

"Does he have a name?" the zephyrite asked.

"Thought Renee should do the honor since he is her gift." Jill explained as XL hid behind her from the marten's hiss and attack.

"It tried to kill me!" He snapped as he pointed at him.

Renee shook her head comically at XL. "A lot of things have tried to kill you. But this," She held out the purring marten. "I think I'll call him... Kipper."

"I'm glad you like him." Jill smiled as Buzz walked up behind her. "I thought at least one of us should be able to get a pet..." She grumbled darkly, still upset over never getting that puppy she wanted.

Renee winked at her. "your next birthday." She whispered.

Buzz frowned. "We couldnt get a dog because you're not responsible enough, nd we're never home."

"What?!" Jill snapped as she turned around. "I'm plenty responsible! What makes you say I'm not?" She crossed her arms in anger. How dare he say she wasn't responsible enough.

Renee pushed into the middle of them, kipper on her shoulder, and smiled. "Lets save the family arguments for after the party shall we?"

XR stuck out his tongue at her from behind.

"Right, sorry." Jill apologized to Renee. She was still mad at her father, but didn't want to ruin her friend's party. She flicked XR's head. "And you, use your best manners, it's a special party." She made a fist. "Or Else."

XR raised an eyebrow. "Fine," He crossed his arms.

Renee chuckled. "Its fine, but its also good to not fight and ruin everyone else's mood." She motioned to everyone else in the room, including Ty.

Everyone was still partying despite the little outburst as Ty came over. "What happened?" He asked after seeing Renee point at him.

"Me and Dad nearly ruined Renee's party." Jill explained. Ty raised an eyebrow.

"Really? Huh, nobody even noticed." Ty said. "We must have gotten ammuned to it."

"Hee hee, yeah." Ty chuckled as he went to pet it. "Hey there little guy." Kipper purred happily. "I can guess who got you this." He teased as he ruffled Jill's hair.

"What is with you men ruffling my hair?" Jill snapped a little, as she fixed it.
