I'm a sucker for orchestral music, which means that I sometimes go for classical music too. But today, I'm listening to something contemporary but pretty kickass. At least in my opinion.

I know next to nothing about them, but they compose their own music for their shows! I think that's pretty cool.

Don't understand all of it, but it appears to tell about a grievously ill woman, to whose healing Egil carves runes and places them under her head/headrest (?), and she's soon cured.

Oh, thanks for the heads up! I found a translation of the song a little while afterwards and it did indeed speak of a woman who fell ill until she carved the proper runes on her bedside or something. Cool!

And nice song! I love epic tracks like that. Now this is the song that's been stuck in my head for days.

Uuu, I love Blind Guardian, and particularly that song, as it's based on one of my favorite fantasy series ever; even narrates the story of a key character (Bran Stark). ^__^ Here's another one of theirs I can't get enough of, related to the aforementioned storyline.

Agreed, At the Edge of Time is one of those albums one doesn't seem to get tired of. Nightfall in Middle-Earth still remains as my personal favorite, but then again, I'm an incurable Tolkien dork.
