Season 3 RP?

Darkmatterfangirl approached me with an interesting proposition: that we do a roleplay that could reflect what we envision Season 3 to be. Given the talk that was going on in this thread, we could go ahead and roleplay it--why not? Each thread, or encounter, could be an "episode", and we could have a basic plot we'd be striving for.

But before we decide on a plot and characters, etc... who's interested?

Well, seeing as I have already made a Zurg app, if folks like it I don't mind RPing the Evil Emperor. Otherwise, I can think of a minor character that I'd like to try my hand at.

I'd love to do it - I just have the problem of no internet during Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and I wouldn't want to hold people up. Would it be possible for me to be a minor character who only needs to post occasionally? I really don't mind who I am - I'd just like to finally get involved with a roleplay.

If no one minds, I'll be Dr. Ozma Furbanna, since she's not likely to be necessary that often. I'm also happy to play minor roles that are only needed briefly - like, say, Crumford Lorak, Madame President, random brainpods/Grubs/LGMs, etc.

I don't think that would be a problem. I've got tons of homework to go through until the end of April, so I'm not gonna be fully available either.

Now then, I already see some people making character applications which I'm pretty excited about already! But does anyone have any ideas for what plot arcs we could address? Smile

What's this I hear? RP for a Season 3?? I'm totally in! I mean, there were sooo many things left unanswered and so many characters and plots left hanging! Totally in and here is a plot arc I would love: to have more about the history of BLoSC universe, about Natron and the Protector. I mean, who or what was this person? And how about the Valkyrans and more about the Evil Emperor Zurg!

I'm sure there will be a lot of other suggestions. It seems that the time...has arrived. (Yeaaaaaaaaaaah!) Cool

More with Natron and company sounds good to me! ^.^ and Zurg of course! Valkyrans too but I wouldn't know how to begin with them, a whole race is too much for me to try and analize lol!

Here's what I was thinking....

1) GET WARP BACK TO STAR COMMAND! *huff* obivously this has always bugged me ^.^ oh and maybe get him a girlfriend (an old friend (most likely OC) from his academy years...yes!?! *nods* XD )

2) COUPLES! XD either Beer, or if someone's opposed to that, ozma/buzz and mira/romac (or maybe even something like Skyfire "this time" fic ^.^)

3) I want to dive into Commander Nebula's psyche XD they didn't give him a personal life! I want to!! xDDD

4) Fix mira and her dad's relationship! poor things Sad

they need to like each other again...

And that's all I can think of right now.....if I think of more I'll edit this! ^.^

Oh, perfect! Now this is something that could be a big thing for the site. I am totally in for this! It may get a little rough for me during the month of April and the first one or two weeks of May due to the fact that I'm finishing up my CNA class then. But other than that I am totally in with my first oc and my second once I figure out some stuff first and get him up. Oh, I'm getting giddy with excitement!

I'll be totally useless if we dont get some really juicy stuff going. I really like the idea of going into Commander Nebula's psyche! Why not an episode where he's been put on leave and is trying to keep star command under control from home?

Yeah, I agree as well with Commander Nebula. They didn't give him a lot of background...or any of the other Space Rangers! That was disappointing.

And speaking of Romac...how did he escape from Zurg? Did they make a deal or sth? The plot thickens...and it would be nice to know what happened to Mira's mother! (And maybe having a bit of romance with Mira and Romac is fine as well).

Ohhh, this could truly be awesome! I have my character app up for Buzz - even though I can get online Thurs and Sat only, I would love to RP again. Especially Buzz. Buzz is fantastically fun to RP.

Yes, there must absolutely be a story in which Warp comes back to Star Command. Something of a follow-up on "Ancient Evil," perhaps?

And there should be a story in which Mira, Booster, and XR graduate from rookies to full Ranger status. Or, at least, in which it is recognized that they've been with Star Command for two years now and are rookies no longer.

Cool! I'm in the process of making an application for Warp because heck, why not? He seems like he'd be fun to do. Very Happy

I was thinking we could start out by playing the characters canon first, and then see where that takes us. Writing a vague background for Warp turned out harder than I thought, but I think if we all start out canon and see where that takes us, it'd make things more interesting than deciding on any one person's fanon.

How does that sound?

Oh, well. Yes. I mention it only because I saw you add some fanon to your presentation. I thought we'd be going with clean slates and then seeing how they would go/develop. Because this is a Season 3 roleplay where own own development will come in as the threads progress, not beforehand.

Oh, did she? I thought she wanted to play Mira, so I decided to go for Warp instead. I always wanted to try him out because he seems like an interesting character and someone so unlike the usual style I RP as.

Ahhh, that's a long story, Kat and Mira and Warp... Please don't misunderstand me - I wasn't trying to put you down or anything! But in the course of our conversation via PMs, Kat told me that she'd like to try out Warp - even give up Mira if Cherry could make it. (She's read our old RP on the XR board.) So, that's where this all is coming from.

I can certainly understand wanting to play Warp (oddly enough, I've never officially RPed him myself). He's just a fun character to write.
