"Uh...uhm... well, uh..." XR tried to think of what to say. "The baby's coming." He said quickly.

She chuckled sweetly. "And you will have to bring me my meals and help take care of them too." The cat decided to poke fun at his species child care habits. "Im not sure how you were taken care of, but I've heard some snakes swallow their young to provide warmth. I'm not eating the kittens."

"Well I hear that you eat your young if they misbehave." Judus joked as a LGM from the medical ward came up to him.

"Oh how nice, well I'm awaiting further-WHAT?!?" Myka yelled as what the bot said finally hit him.

Renee glanced down at the LGM before chuckling and going on to the cafeteria with XL. "Well, work calls I see."

"Mr. Hissgot," Thelittle alien said quickly. "We need you in the mdical ward now. Child delivery."

"Uh, yes," XR looked nervous. "We need you here now."

"I'm all the way at the end of the galaxy! I won't make it in time!!" Myka yelled at the screen.

"Child delivery?" Judus asked. "Who?"

"Jillian Lightyear." It said indiferently.

Renee froze in her tracks. "On second though, XL just grab me some fish filets and bring them to the medical ward." She hobbled off as wuickly as possible to the medical bay.

"Just get when you can! Soon!" XR cried helplessly.

"What?!" Judus said surprised. "But she's not due for another month!" He knew this was bad. The baby was coming way too soon.

In the medical ward Jill was screaming in pain.

Renee made it into the office a few minutes later. "Jill!" She got to desk. "Where is Jill?" She couldnt remember her last name at the moment.

The LGM shook his head (wasnt she pregnant for almost a month before they found out?) "Im not sure what to say. They need you now though."

"Mrs. Lightyear?" The LGM behind the desk asked. "In the medical ward having a baby."

"Right! I'm on my way!" Judus said as he dashed to the medical ward. There wasn't a second to lose. (A week actually.)

"I mean WHERE in the medical wing?" She asked. "Forget it." she took off sprinting again, but not fast enough to be uncomfortable or even painful.

Several LGMs were waiting for Judus, trying to keep Jill from flipping out. They had already set up the IV. (okay thanks sorry)

"What's the status?" Judus asked as he ran up to the group. Jill was nearly in tears as she held her stomach.

"Judus...am I going to lose my baby?" She whimpered sadly as she felt a lump in her throat.

"I don't think so," He frowned, already peaking between her legs. "But it is early. I think we can take care of it." He seemed nervous, but was ready for everything and proffesionally set.

Renee finally made it, coming into the room and sighing. "Jill, jill are you okay?" She took her friend's hand.

"I'm having my baby a month early, my husband's not here, and I'm in horrible pain...so...NO!" She screamed as she squeezed Renee's hand tightly.

Renee winced slightly but tried to be comforting. "Calm down jill, you'll pull through. Come on." She recalled the awful point jill had made about child birth deaths occasionally running in families.

"The babies crowning!" Judus announced. "Okay jill, I need you to push."

Jill breathed heavily as she tried to muster all her remaining might to do as she was told. "I don't think I can do this!" She cried in pain as she squeezed Renee's hand again.

Renee kept trying to be helpful but wasn't sure what to do. She hoped that it wouldn't be so bad when she was here. "You can, you can Jill."

Judus gently began pulling, gloves straining for a grasp. "Just a little more jill, you can do this." He was already seeing slight signs of prematurity.

Jill breathed heavily before screaming as she gave one more push. Falling back, she was sweating and gasping as a softt cry was heard. "I-is, is she-?" Jill asked weakly as Judus smiled at her as a LGM brought a pink blanket, but the doctor looked at the crying wet baby and shook his head as he pushed the blanket away.

Renee looked up, not knowing what to think. She hoped jill would take into consideration that even at a month early babies had a high survival rate and were usually fairly well developed, even if they were small. "Is it a boy?" She asked quickly for her friend after seeing him reject the pink blanket.

"Sorry to disapoint." Judus smiled as he wrapped the baby up and gave the crying baby to the tired mother. "But your instints were wrong." Jill looked ready to cry in joy as she held her baby in her arms. "It's a very healthy boy." The tiny dark tan boy wailed as black hair was plastered on his still wet head.

Renee giggled in delight at the sight of the little boy. "What is his name?" She figured they had planned names out before hand. She and Judus hadn't because she didn't know what gender thay all were.

Jill gave a tired smile as she stroked her baby's face gently. "I have one in mind." She said as she kissed her baby's cheek. Myka and Buzz came busting in painting at that moment.

"Glad you could make it, guys," Renee chuckled at them sweetly and motioned towards Jill and the baby. She glanced back and very tenderly stroked the newborn's forehead. "What were you thinking of?"

"Jill, jill is everything alright?" Myka and buzz both looked like they were about to have heart attacks.

"Tired and exshauted...but I'm okay." Jill smiled as Myka ran up to her and saw that he had a little boy. "Meet your son, Myka." Jill smiled. "Neil Joseph Lightyear."

Myka took the baby, looking quite shocked at the sight of his son. "Hey there Neil," He said in an overly-kawaii voice. Dad fever was already setting in.

Buzz smiled at Jill. "And he's every bit as handsome as his granpa." He laughed teasingly

"We're doing an at-home birth, mind you." Renee whispered to Judus as he pulled off his gloves. "So be sure to bring stuff home with you soon."

Buzz chuckled as if offended but played with a little bit of neil's hair. "Right. Well, all the better that he looks a little like his father."

Myka smiled tenderly, giving gaga eyes to neil and already humming a soft lullaby. "My baby boy," He quickly gave jill a kiss.

Renee purred and nuzzled him a bit. "Thanks sweets." She nibbled his ear a littl intimately. "And I was wondering if you liked the names Merrick and Maverick for our boys? I have a gut feeling that there's two or three of them."
