"What? No, about how you treated Ozma." Warp looked a little shocked then rubbed his neck.

"Oh, right that..." Warp trailed off as Buzz glared at him. "Ignore that first comment, then."

Ignoring Warp's comment about Ty, Buzz went on to say, "Don't you think you were being harsh to Ozma tonight? She and I were enjoying each other's company!"

Buzz paused for a minute. "And Ty was fine with that Simone girl."

"Yeah, thanks to me. If I hadn't pressured him into taking her he'd probably wind up taking his mom." Warp said. "And as for Ozma, you know how I feel about her! She'll just use you and break your heart! It'll be Amy all over again!"

Buzz glared. "She will NOT! I've got a good feeling about Ozma! Sure, she may be a bit...fierce, but she's good underneath that icy exterior! Amy was just...well, Amy!"

"....and Ty was getting along fine with Simone before you pressured him into taking her to the dance."

"Well excue me for caring about my friends!" Warp snapped at him. "And Ozma is a perfect copy of Amy. She's cold, unfeeling, selfcentered and cares only about herself! And when Ozma breaks your heart, you'll be in the corner crying all over again!"

Buzz snapped back, "Hey! She may be cold, but she's NOT self-centered. She's got a certain fire that I like, and she's not backstabbing like Amy was. I know you're trying to look out for me...and for Ty, but we're okay!"

"Fine! But don't come crying to me when she shatters your heart like a piece of glass! Just like Amy did when she left you for Franz!" Warp snapped. He stormed to the bathroom.

Buzz's glare intensified. He snapped back, "Oh, I won't, Warp, don't worry about that!"

He sighed and rubbed his forehead. He was going to have somehow prove to Warp that Ozma was good for him.

But he didn't feel like doing that now. He'd figured he could start in the morning.

It was early the next morning at the labs. Gabby was looking threw the microscope at some new amibas that were found on Karn. She didn't look up as Ozma walked in. "Well if it isn't the bell of the ball." She said flatly. "How was the dance?"

Ozma perked up at Gabby's question and just shrugged nonchalantly, not wanting to go too deep into it.

"It wasn't too bad, all things considered."

"Why?" Gabby asked, eyes never leaving the microscope. "Did prince charming leave you behind and danced with the next hot thing?" She hissed a little.

Ozma raised an eyebrow at Gabby's icy tone, but didn't acknowledge it.

Instead, she answered, "No, he stayed with me the entire time, even though Darkmatter didn't seem to like the idea of us dancing."

She went over to a table to set up a work station.

"...why do you ask?"

"Because," Gabby hissed. "The little whelp of a Zephyrite tried to ask me to that bloody mixer." Her eyes swirled a sickly green and bloody red as she spoke.

Alan was off with Ginger in the breakfast hall. "So..." He asked embarrasedly, brushing his goatee. "Did you ahve fun last night? I didn't screw up too badly did I?"

"Because I don't want a man." Gabby hissed. Ozma sighed as she left her friend to her work. Gabby noticed the cells she was looking at were glowing blueish. "What in the-" A loud explion was heard as she was sent back. A white burning pain covered her face as she covered her eyes. Blood poured from the sockets as she screamed bloody murder.

"Gabby!" Ozma gasped, backing away from the blast area. she grabbed the phone and called for help.

Gabby was clawing at her eyes, the blast had left her hands numb, but she could still feel the metal and glass imbedded in them. "I CAN'T SEE!" She screamed in agony.
