Rare and Unusual Merchandise Empty Rare and Unusual Merchandise

I was browsing on eBay the other day for BLoSC action figures, and I found out that there really are some obscure pieces of merchandise out there. Check out what I got my mitts on:

It's one of the generic pistols from the series! Apparently it was a Walt Disney World/Disneyland exclusive from around 2008, and the strange thing is that, while the packaging is of second generation BLoSC design (i.e. it uses the series' name, but not its characters or branding), the pistol itself still features the logo of the series.
Otherwise, I have a few more strange things to show...

I own two of the more common action figures, Roboots Buzz and NOS, though there's nothing unusual about them.

This set, on the other hand, seems to be quite rare. I bought it at a Disney Store, probably around 2005 or 2006, out of early nostalgia compulsion! It features the two pullback vehicles and the ramp, which also has a weird track/bridge/plank thing that I didn't know could be removed from the ramp for about two years. I also remember sighting Lilo & Stitch versions of the cars (which simply replaced the Buzz and Zurg figures with the titular characters) at Disneyland Paris in 2007, and possibly Donald Duck and Goofy versions.

That's all from my own collection... but I've sighted some weird things otherwise:

These two unusual pieces are part of YouTube user shaneyboy84's huge and wonderful Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear collection, which can be seen here. What the heck is the purple thing? A money box? I just don't know. And a Bathyos Buzz Lightyear! I never knew these existed - it's not at the same scale as the Mattel action figure line.

What unusual or rare BLoSC pieces have you seen/bought?

I've got a Booster, an XR, a NOS (all common), and the Bathyos Buzz! I'm still looking for a Zurg. I want one so badly! My evil will not be complete until I have my very own Zurg~!

A Zurg such as THIS perhaps~? >D

I also have the two XR action figures (Exploding Action and Hover Attack), both of which are boxed. I have a loose NOS-4-A2 and two XR pins which I've posted here and BLoSC goggles which I've posted here.

What I really want is a Warp action figure. That's supposed to be the rarest of them, and I've yet to find it. D8

Wow! You have it? What size is it? What features does it have? Can you take photos? Why am i so hyped for a piece of merchandise?!

Is that Zurg custom painted? I don't know if it's the lighting or not, but it looks like it has a dirt wash (which brings out details with black lines). A complete Zurg seems to be really hard to get loose - not only does he need his cape, but his missiles seem to be very easily lost, by the looks of some of the auctions I've seen.

Figures in the first wave are rarest (this included the original releases of Battle Blastin' Buzz and Zurg, as well as Warp, Exploding XR and Headbutting Booster). Because they are exclusive to this wave, Warp and the LGM and Grub minifigures are thus the rarest figures in the collection.

I thought I might post two cool Buzz items that aren't BLoSC, but are awesome anyway.

No, he's not custom painted, to my knowledge. It's just the lighting. I got him cheap off of ebay (less than 10 dollars) so I don't mind so much that he's missing his cape or other accessories, though it would have been nice to have them. :S

As said before, I happen to have the Exploding XR, and since he's still in box, I have all of his accessories as well as the LGM figure he came with. ^^ I only ever saw Warp being sold once before, though, on a lot of various Toy Story toys that was set for auction rather than buy-it-now (ebay), so I wasn't able to get it. :S

(However, at the moment (07-27-2012) THIS little item is for sale on ebay: [link] (Ships to USA only, so, sorry those of you outside the country... 8P))

The toy is fairly large - I'm not sure of the exact height, maybe about six or seven inches? It used to talk when you pressed a button, but eventually it stopped working. If you want to know what it said, I can ask my brother, since I think he remembers.

Here is a photo - let me know if you want more:

After a bit of internet browsing, I've found not one, but two knock-off toys that use the 6" cartoon Buzz Lightyear mold:

Rare and Unusual Merchandise Lolwtf10
This rather odd figure is an oversized version of the mold, presumably made to follow in the regular 12" Buzz's footsteps. It's a pretty blatant knock-off with the "Toy Special 3" logo.

This figure(two of which are still on eBay) is a little more puzzling, in that its packaging is identical to that of a real Toy Story figure, despite the figure within obviously being fake.

I don't know where these two toys come from, but they're interesting finds, no matter how crazy they look!

Dang, even though they look kooky, that's awesome, Olivus! I mean, again, the look kooky, but it's always nice to find things like these in the most random of places. *smiles*
