Ok this is just something that popped into my head while watching 'Wirewolf', very well could just be a detail plot-hole but I was wondering what y'all thought Smile...

The Gloves:

When Ty has everyone sign in at the station, it's a hand print scanner, riiiight? Then answer me this....

I mean we know from TAB that they can be taken off without the rest of the armor having to come off as well, so...why?? Better yet, why does the scanner scan and accept!? affraid

Perhaps Pulsar-400 gloves have identity chips built into them, so that only Space Rangers can access their computers? Then again, what happens when a criminal gets hold of a Pulsar-400...

In Sunquake, there's also a hand scanner, and it seems to work based on DNA, though it also seems to X-ray their hands. Maybe it can scan through their suits somehow? I don't know. XD

I consider that the show is based 1,000 years into the future, so i assume that, by this point, they have successfully invented - like you said - an x-ray scanner, which has been carefully designed alongside the space ranger suit so that they are technicalogically compatible with each other (special sensors built into the suit allow the sensors in the scanner to pass through the defensive layers of the suit and read the hand inside of it). Now isnt that a creative excuse to disguise a plot-bunny? Wink
