XR really care's about commander Nebula, as we all know, but what about the other way around? Commander made his love for XR vocal in 'Revenge of the Reanoks' but ?I want your opinion on the relationship.

XR, XL, and Nebula- one twisted family tree

The Commander loves XR (and perhaps even XL) but he'd just never admit it. I love Nebula/XR scenes. They're always so cute.

Considering the whole deal with Nebula disliking androids because of XL, I do believe that Nebula didn't want to form any sorts of bonds with XR in the beginning. But, over time, he did finally warm up to his son. He just didn't really want to admit it until much later.

There are many moments in the series when you can see that Nebula is proud of XR - I think it's just XR's talkative and attention-seeking attitude that puts Nebula off from praising him more often. If it weren't for XL, Nebula would probably enjoy XR's company more.

I imagine the alternate universe pair being the exact opposite - XR accepts his "dad's" approval of him quietly, while Nebula is vocally proud to have a robot ranger on the team!

XR seems to create a light allusion to his role in the world at my best guess. He's someone who thinks that he is instantly likeable to a lot of people he meets (in some cases correct) but that's not true in many other cases.

Half the time XR opens his mouth, he essentially blows his 'suave' look for one of blissful ignorance of the perceptions of others around him. Well..I can't blame him for trying, in his original debut he was nothing but a slow copycat-ish bot. I think when the LGMs 'fixed' him the first time just added life to it.

We all know Nebula wasn't too found of him after that bit. It's more or less just the ability in knowing when to shut up. xD
